Sophie Khadivi-Advisor

Where are you from? Lenexa, Kansas

What are you studying? M.Ed in Educational Leadership.

What are you involved in outside of NRHH? I am the advisor for Hall Crew, the Graduate Assistant for the central housing office, and involved with St. Andrews Parish.

What is your favorite thing about NRHH? Getting to serve the TCU community and Fort Worth area and meet such strong and selfless community leaders through advising the organization. The emphasis on recognizing others is such a unique and fulfilling part of the organization.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, meeting new people, good conversations, exercising outdoors, drinking lots of coffee, and being in the sunshine!


Chase Berry-President

Where are you from? Mansfield, TX

What are you studying? I am majoring in Strategic Communications and getting a minor in General Business.

What are you involved with outside of NRHH? On campus, I am currently involved with Leaders for life – Mentor, Frog Camp – Director, HRL Resident Assistant, HRL Resident Assistant, TCU Horned Frog Marching Band – Cymbals, Best Buddies – Secretary, NaturallyMi – President, Dance Marathon – Morale Leader, TCU Black Student Association – General Member, TCU Between – General Member, and NAACP – General Member.

Why did you choose to join NRHH? The organization NRHH is truly such a great organization and through my experiences within many organizations and departments on campus including Housing and Residence life and Student Development Services, I’ve seen so many great individuals and efforts towards the students that deserve to be recognized. Being involved with all these different parts of campus and with my experience of being in leadership throughout campus including frog camp director, resident assistant, hallcrew leader, etc. I’ve sincerely seen, worked, and collaborated with so many parts of this campus and I wanted give back.

What is your favorite thing about NRHH? NRHH and its opportunities for recognition and service are definitely my favorite part of this organization. Being offered the facilities to give back to the Fort Worth Community as well as being able to give back to the University that has given so much to me is what makes this organization worth wild.

What do you like to do during your free time? I love to listen to music, hang with friends and family, and play video games in my free time!

 


Alex Ramirez-Vice President of Records and Communication

Where are you from? Houston, TX

What are you studying? Speech and Language Pathology and minoring in child development.

What are you involved with outside of NRHH? I’m the team captain of the women’s ultimate frisbee team on campus and I’m a member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA).

Why did you choose to join NRHH? I chose to join because it seemed like a fun and supportive group to be a part of.

What is your favorite thing about NRHH? Being able to recognize offices each month that work hard to provide for our community. They’re always so excited when we hand them their recognition posters!

What do you like to do during your free time? I like to go throw frisbee with my friends/teammates, hang out with my roommates and our cats, and binge watch TV shows on Netflix.


Alex Caron-NRHH Representative

Where are you from?  Longview, Texas

What are you studying? Biology Major

What are you involved with outside of NRHH? Outside of NRHH, I am a resident assistant, an Honors Ambassador, and am involved in undergraduate research.

Why did you choose to join NRHH? I chose to join NRHH because I wanted to find a way to give back to the community and recognize some of the great things going on, on campus.

What is your favorite thing about NRHH?  My favorite part of NRHH is definitely the people!

What do you like to do during your free time? In my free time I enjoy going on walks, reading, or just sitting outside with friends.

 


Brooke Preston-Vice President of Social and Service

Where are you from? Fort Worth, TX

What are you studying? Psychology major, criminal justice minor

What are you involved in outside of NRHH? Outside of NRHH, I work on campus at Foster as a lead desk assistant. I am also the Events Coordinator for Naturally Mi, a natural hair organization on campus.

Why did you choose to join NRHH? I choose to join NRHH because of my passion for community service. Being around individuals who are just as interested and dedicated, opens me up to so many new service projects and opportunities.

What is your favorite thing about NRHH? My favorite thing about NRHH is the people! From my first meeting, I knew that everyone involved was genuine, caring, and just a fun group to be around!

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time I love to make jewelry, ride rollercoasters, and try out new restaurants with my friends. Over the summers I also love my work as a florist.

Where are you from? St. Louis Missouri

What are you studying? Nursing

What are you involved with outside of NRHH? I volunteer at Encompass Health Hospice, am in Greek life (Chi O), I love intramural sports, and am in the Students Nursing Association.

Why did you choose to join NRHH?  I love the values that this club has! Volunteering has always been a very important part of my life and I love how this club gives me so many opportunities to serve others.

What is your favorite thing about NRHH? My favorite part of NRHH is the community it has given me! I love all the people in it😊

What do you like to do during your free time? I love to hang out with my friends, run, volunteer, sports, and music!

 


Ellie Burnham-Vice President of Spirit and Selection

Where are you from? St. Louis, Missouri

What is your Major? Nursing!

What are you involved with outside of NRHH? I am a Chi Omega at TCU. I am a part of Student Nurses Association, a nursing mentor, and am involved in intramural sports. I am also a hospice volunteer with Encompass Health-Hospice.

Why did you join NRHH? For many reasons! I love how the club gives back not only to the TCU community, but to the Fort Worth community as well. I love how we get to recognize those who help make our school so wonderful! I also love the NRHH community and all of the new friends I have made through our organization!

What is your favorite thing about NRHH? Recognizing the different departments within the TCU community. I love how we get to recognize the departments that are underrated, yet so vital to the TCU community!

What do you like to do in your free time? I love hanging out with my friends and family! I also love to be outdoors and be active! I really enjoy running and doing yoga as well!


Abby Evans-Vice President of Recognition

Where are you from? Austin, TX

What are you studying? Graphic Design!

What are you involved with outside of NRHH? Christ Chapel College, Chi Alpha Student Ministry, Intramural Department of the Rec, Ultimate Frisbee, and Design Focus 🙂

Why did you join NRHH? Because I wanted to be a part of recognizing the TCU community and have more community service opportunities.

What is your favorite thing about NRHH? The service opportunities and the people!

What do you like to do in your free time? I like to watch Netflix/movies, hangout with friends, get outdoors, and paint/draw.
